First we have finally a preview of Senjou no Valkyria 3 Complete Works (November 24 on sale). Click on every image to enlarge.
Very interesting to take a look tat Raita's original design for Imca with short hair, also early designs for Amy and Leila can be seen in the preview pages too.
Next it's the first official image in colour of the new Selvaria figura based on a new original design by Raita.

Personally I'm not a big fan of this figure, even if I love Selvaria, this looks to me like a wasted opportunity, there is so much potential in the Valkyria universe for great figures, anyway, the figure it's cool, don't get me wrong.

Serenade_King: I love Raita's artwork, I love it so much I have two art books of VC1, pre-ordered two art books of VC2 (I have never bought two of the same books/manga until now :P) and would do the same if this one Udon translates this one....... this only makes me sad that there is no date for VC3 here T_T (Imca FTW XD).

ReplyDeleteSerenade_King: True, but at least to me the strength of Raita is the detail to his military gear, uniforms, armor, vehicles and objects in general so at least VC uses his skills well.... still, I would love if he did a manga with a serious tone like VC (especially if the character design is like the original Rosie with the dog, thats my favorite drawing in the VC1 art book ^_^).
ReplyDeleteHe released in 2006 a doujinshi (non erotic) called Raita's militaria with some military artwork, not everything is military but he draw some tanks and other stuff. But his usual work it far from the Valkyria designs, it's just young girl.. well, you can imagine.
